Edward Flynn Sports Performance Expert & Wellness Consultant As a seasoned expert in human performance and wellness, Edward Flynn brings extensive experience to Franchise Senior Sports, guiding seniors toward vibrant health and mobility. A doctoral candidate and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Dr. Flynn specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapy. Dr. Flynn offers expertise in sports performance enhancement for seniors, injury prevention and recovery, mindfulness and meditation, flexibility and mobility training, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Lynn has dedicated 35 years to the St. Louis Police Department, beginning as a Prisoner Processing Clerk for 19 years and then serving as a Civilian Supervisor for the past 16 years. In 2016, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Following this, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration from Lindenwood University. Lynn's commitment to service extends beyond her role at the Police Department. Her professional journey reflects her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
Anjie Lingard is a multifaceted leader, serving as Cofounder and Treasurer of Franchise Senior Sports. With a distinguished 27-year career at Bank of America, Anjie has honed her expertise across various departments, including the loan department, teller lines, and private banking. Her banking prowess was further enhanced by attending the esteemed AIB Banking School, where she earned multiple certificates and certifications. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Anjie is deeply committed to community service. She has served as Chaplain for the St. Louis Police Wives Association and is an active member of the Eastern Star Association.
Annicia Powell holds a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Affairs from Harris Stowe State University. She is also certified in Missouri Special Education, Mild/Moderate Cross Categorical. As Development Director and Grant Writer, Annicia will leverage her expertise in grant writing, program development, and community outreach to drive our organization's mission forward. Her passion for empowering communities and improving lives makes her a valuable asset to our team.
Helah Pettigrew is a Volunteer Services Coordinator for Americorp. She holds Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she is a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and specializes in senior fitness. Helah is recognized as an alternative world record holder for push-ups on an international level and is a nationally qualified figure competitor. Helah is a dynamic fitness instructor leading a Christian hip-hop cardio class, .As an entrepreneur, she owns "The Body Snatcher," a practice specializing in non-surgical liposuction, where she helps clients achieve their desired body goals.
David Larkan brings extensive experience to the Franchise Sports board, combining law enforcement and athletics. He began his career in 1988 with the North Little Rock Police Department, eventually becoming a Lieutenant at Camp Robinson Police Department, where he oversees Patrol and K-9 operations. A Third Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, David also played minor league football for the Arkansas Rhinos and minor league baseball in the Pecos League. His athletic achievements include representing Arkansas in the Senior Men’s Baseball World Series and winning multiple National Championship Titles in Senior Softball, showcasing his dedication to sports and teamwork.
